Gandhidham, formerly known as Sardarganj, is the biggest and most populated city in Gujarat, India's Kutch District. It was established at the beginning of the 1950s with the purpose of resettling Sindhi Hindu refugees from Sindh (now in Pakistan) as a result of India's partition. It is Gujarat's eighth-most populated city and the economic hub of Kutch, where families and retirees are flocking in increasing numbers. It is a well-liked location for business meetings, conferences, and other events.
Anjar is a historical city situated just 15 km. away from Gandhidham. Both cities are near to Kandla Airport.
